We rented both sections of the Windrock Lodge and LOVED IT. The lodge is beautiful and has all the comforts of home. We rode the trails up to 10 hours a day. It was so nice to come back to warm showers, cable TV, dishwashers, and gas grill, ice available at the lodge…and a relaxing porch to sit on. We can’t wait to come back. I highly recommend the lodge to a family or large group. We only had 10 people, but could have accommodated more. Tami – Xenia, Ohio
Windrock lodge is by far the best place we have ever stayed on an ATV trip hands down. Wes and his crew have thought of everything you could need, and then some. We would recommend anyone looking for a great place to stay to give WRL a try. Rusty and Jodie – Calhoun, GA
We had a great experience! We used the Windrock Lodge for a 2-day company event. We rented the entire cabin out and packed in over 20 guests. The cabin is beautiful; we had plenty of space inside and out. Everyone had a wonderful time and keeps asking, "When are we going to do it again?" Thanks Wes, we appreciate your efforts and look forward to next time. Scott and the crew at UST – Asheville, NC
We have stayed there several times. The place has everything that you will need for your stay. Easy access to the trails and if you don't want to eat there then Oak Ridge is only 10 minutes away. I think the pictures speak for themselves. I really enjoy staying there. Sammy and Marie – Charleston, TN
Me and my buddies loved the Windrock Lodge. Our stay was more than we could have hoped for. Can't wait to come back. Thank you so much for having us and we look forward to our next trip. Thank you so much. Robin Thompson – Clayton, GA
Windrock Lodge is near more than 160 miles of trails on Windrock Mountain and the Coal Creek Off Highway Vehicle Area. Most are moderate to difficult, with beautiful scenery at every turn. From the lodge, you can access three additional areas with approximately 250,000 acres and several hundred miles of off-road adventure-all without ever dismounting your ATV.
The consolidated North Cumberland WMA, now Tennessee's biggest state-owned wildlife management area, includes units formerly known as the Royal Blue, Sundquist and Brimstone WMAs.
